Gutter Cleaning -

Pristine’s Process

Why clean your gutters

Left too long, gutters filled with debris can cause many issues leading to significant costs in some cases. Some common issues are:

  • Overflowing gutters can cause water damage to internal walls and insulation causing damp and if left can lead to mould which can affect your health

  • Weight in the gutters can lead to bent, or at worst broken gutter fittings

  • Blocked downpipes can cause overflow and water on the outside edge of the property damage to claddings and potentially rising damp

  • Frequency - dependant on environmental factors but as a guide 3-6 months for properties with surrounding trees and 6-12 months or even longer for those without. one of the cleans should be scheduled late Autumn or early winter to coincide with leaf fall
